Darkmoon Faire Exalted Guide
Stayed up until 4am this morning putting the finishing touches on my latest guide – Darkmoon Faire Exalted! Since the method is pretty simplistic (ie buy 120 decks, k go!) I’ve gone into a fair bit of depth as far as collecting decks goes. I’ve even made a video guide sharing my auction house routine and tips for putting together the epic decks cheaply. You’ll even get to make fun of my Aussie accent since I walk you through the video – now that’s gotta be worth a watch amirite? :p

Oh my wonderful toys!
Since [Icecreamcone] has kindly pointed out (twice recently! :p) that I need a new post I figured I better indulge him :p
I’ve been busy working away on my Darkmoon Faire guide lately as well as packing to move to another state. I’m making a video for the darkmoon guide that shows people how I put together my decks cheaply by auction housing it. For the first time I’m going to do a video with me talking throughout so we’ll soon see if thats a success or an awesome fail.
Last night I added an awesome new toy to my disguises collection! The [Super Simian Sphere] – it was actually the second one we’d seen drop in 10 man Ulduar so far. [Aider] won the roll with an 87 but passed it to me because he’s awesome, thanks again man!
The collection of illusions so far includes:

Three-boxing, Bindings of the Windseeker and Face Mismatches
Sooooo…A lot seems to have happened in the last few days. Having never been a person that plays alts I’ve embarked on a somewhat ambitious 3-boxing project! My decision on what class to play came down to either mage or shaman. Since I’m not overly fond of playing Draenei I ended up deciding on going with mages and so far I haven’t regretted it.
After a lot of deliberation on names (and a lot of checking what was actually available to take) I ended up settling with Kahboom, Kaapow and Kablammo. As they level up a little more I’ll record some stuff to make a video sharing my setup and ways of tackling different things.
Second up, after recently reading about a change to [Bindings of the Windseeker] that removed the class restriction I thought it might be an interesting irony to try obtaining the [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker] feat of strength on a class that can’t even equip the thing.
I figured that the only way I wasnt going to grief someone out of the drop was to farm the bosses solo. So this afternoon I headed in and took my first crack at Garr. It was a very easy solo and guess what I got!
Next up is to gather some fire resist gear and solo Baron Geddon for the next binding. Time will tell on that one I suppose, at least now I know how all those one-binding warriors felt back in the MC days! :p
Finally I’ll finish this post with something really wierd. Two friends, Epyon and Zyklia, recently made a post on our guild forum about freaky face mismatches that had happened to them in game. I’m not sure how it happens, but a day or two after seeing their screenshots it happened to two of my 3-box mages.

Steamwheedle Exalted Guide
That’s right – they’re a bunch of short, green and very greedy capitalists and in my latest guide I tell you how to become their best friends! This particular guide has been a few weeks coming and is one that I can see growing even more over time as people tell me what else they’d like to see. Take a read and let me know what you think!

7000 Achievement points milestone passed!
Just a quick post to update the site. Ulduar has been progressing fantastically, we’re having heaps of fun in both 10 and 25 mans.
I’ve finally broken the 7000 Achievement Point mark too – what a landmark! I’m now at 7175 points and with Ulduar around now I’ve got plenty more to come. Also working on the [Frostbitten] achievement at the moment too.
Absolutely have to share a few of my recent screenshots. Check out all the fish feasts for some insanity from Khasha. The shot of General Vezax I think looks amazing too.

A few things from my week so far
I’ve had a few things pop up in the last couple of days that have been cool, or made me laugh, but which haven’t really warranted their own post. So I figured it might be an idea just to share them all in a quick update – so here we go!
Coolest tooltip ever? I think it just might be – this is text for a debuff linked to one of the traps in the Ulduar Thorim encounter, made me laugh!
I finally knocked this one over! The [Argent Squire] ended up being the one to push me over the 75 pets line.
I threatened to post it on the site, and here it is Block! :p This one had me cracking up in tank chat.
This classic comment probably best sums up the kinds of reactions I’m getting to my new title. Love it!
…and last, but definitely not least, I finally finished farming 500,000,000 x [Oshu'gun Crystal Powder Sample] (actual number may have been slightly smaller :p) in Nagrand for the two Halaa PvP mounts.
I chose to farm them from the Deathshow mobs at Twilight Ridge so I could build up a good stock of [Fel Armament] and [Mark of Sargeras]. In a few days I should be exalted with the Aldor for the [Hero of Shattrath] feat of strength which will be a nice little bonus.

Ulduar first impressions
Sometime this week, between the 50 million server restarts, we managed to sneak in time to take a 10-man in to Ulduar and have a peek around. We had such a fantastic time with all the exciting and fun encounters. We managed to take down Flame Leviathan, Razorscale, XT-002 Deconstructor, Iron Council, Kologarn, Auriaya, Hodir, Thorim and Freya which was not bad.
I picked up [The Leviathan's Coil], [Valorous Nightsong Legguards] and [Guise of the Midgard Serpent]. The later of which I think one of the most awesome looking helms I’ve ever seen, check it out:
I took a few more screenshots of the instance and some of our kills as well. After spending some time in there you’ll probably agree that screenshots can’t do the place justice. I definitely recommend getting some of your guildmates and hitting the place up, we’re having an awesome time so far!
Still working on that Steamwheedle Cartel rep guide, and I’ve got a few more ideas for posts so watch this space :)
Insanity at last!
So after a much longer than expected patch and a day of server crashes, we managed to finally login and receive our titles. Feels great to have finally achieved what is at the moment a pretty special rep title!

Shen’dralar Exalted Guide
Ugh, so it’s 3:15am here in Sydney on patch night – tomorrow is going to be a big day with lots of new toys to play with and new achievements to aim for. I also get to login and receive my ‘the Insane’ title which I think will go *perfectly* with my Scarab Lord mount.
I’ve spent the last several hours putting the finishing touches on my Shen’dralar guide. For such a simple rep grind, there was a lot to put into it – have a read and let me know what you think! If I’ve missed anything obvious or you think there’s anything that could be elaborated on then I’d love to hear from you.

Ravenholdt Exalted Guide
So I’ve finished my final draft of the Ravenholdt Exalted Guide. It takes you through everything required for the grind and goes into specifics on different routes to take when using your rogue to pick pockets for the many many [Heavy Junkboxes] you’ll need. I’ve also uploaded and included a few youtube videos showing the routes I used, as well as reference links for people to get more information.
Since it’s the first of many such guides, I’d particularly appreciate any feedback on the layout and information as well as any other stuff you’d like to see included.
