@Spring - Thanks for taking the time to say that.

I truly and genuinely appreciate that, along with your comment, comes an implied higher regard for the other content and message on the site. That means a lot to me.

I've known Lint for a while and while many folks with his experience and knowledge might indeed be egomaniacs he's very far from this. He's helpful, humble, a good friend and great to make fun of! :p

One of my favourite things to ponder is why people do what they do. Why they make stupid decisions, why they fail to understand things and especially why when they UNDERSTAND something they STILL make the stupid decision.

One thing that's clear from the articles so far is that whether the direction is understood or not people ARE thinking. I think that's a pretty good thing and I'll continue to encourage it.

Let's make these things a fun discussion. If you see a paragraph or a point that should be challenged then challenge it! If we get good discussion out of these things and Lint has to work to make his points then I think I'd be pretty happy :)

I can't help but get the impression that you are exploiting your permissions to post on this page in attempt to prove you are
1. intelligent and
2. have some knowledge of psychology.
It also says to me that you believe yourself to be a 'gifted' gamer.
All in all, I think these articles serve no purpose other than as I mentioned above to illustrate your knowledge and to try and make people see that YOU are a 'gifted gamer', or infact give people hope that they too are as 'gifted' as you. Hate to be cynical, but this sort of approach should be left to psychology journals.

Thank you for writing these "gifted gamer" articles. I find them really interesting. ^_^
I think it would be interesting if you could make some sort of test to figure out how gifted a gamer is.
I think it would probably take a game(s)to test specific
elements of a gamer's ability.
I think they have games to test someone's reflexes.
It would be interesting if you guys wrote up some ideas for ways to test certain aspects of playing abilities and reasons to take the test and a scale on which you could place your results. Anyways, I check your blog like everyday honestly so I'm looking forward to your future writings. :)
