Name these classic bosses
Something fun for you guys! After a few classic instance runs lately I got to thinking about how many ‘secret’ or ‘hidden’ bosses there were even back then.
There’s a massive list of them so I thought it might be a cool challenge to show a picture of a few at a time and see who can get the most correct. To clarify; All of the bosses shown in the picture were in non-raid instances during classic warcraft.
I have a [Path of Cenarius] loot card here for the first correct set of answers. If nobody answers correctly within a day or so it’ll go to the person who got the most correct. Leave your answers in the comments field below!
UPDATE – I’ve had a number of responses come in so far. I’m going to not show the comments for another day or so to ensure everyone gets a fair go. Also a bonus question! People who played a certain class in classic wow have an advantage on this challenge, which class and why?
UPDATE 2 – The first correct answer was Hakasu from Ravenholdt EU, your path of cenarius code is on the way in an email grats! :) Grats also to Dregor, Aimcaster, Blatant, Ares, Stonefury who had correct answers.
The answer to the bonus question was Mage. In classic wow the Magisters Boots (dungeon set) were originally – and very unfairly – a drop from Postmaster Malown. They were later moved to Hearthsinger Forestren who was a lot easier to farm.
I also would have accepted Druids for the Mor Grayhoof/idol connection as some of you pointed out – many memories of stealth farming that one! :)

Hmm, tough bonus question. It’s been a long time. I played a shaman and don’t remember anything like that, but if I had to guess, maybe druid? Being able to make a rounded stealth group to skip stuff in LBRS is the only thing I can think of. Rogues can stealth too, but can’t make a full group of them to do it, at least not at that time.
Probably wrong tho and my memory is failing me!

The special class would be Druids, because it was a Teir quest chain for everyone but he also droped ‘Idol of Rejuvenation’, best in slot healing Idol for Resto’s! Saw a ton of stealth runs to farm this guy.

As for the bonus question if you were a druid like i was on my alt you needed to kill Mor Grayhoof for the Idol of Rejuvenation. so we could just do stealth runs ftw!
The Sanctum guard dude is Lord Valthalak and the Ghoul is Timmy the Cruel.

Bonus: I honestly can’t remember. Maybe Paladins because all of these enemies are Undead. Or Priests because of the Shackle Undead.
Bonus question: I’m gonna guess mage, because noone except people after Magister’s set pieces would have bothered summoning the Postmaster.

Timmy the Cruel is, as far as i can see, not related to any of the other mobs.
Postmaster Melown is also not related.
Isalien and Mor Grayhoof both drop http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22046 or http://www.wowhead.com/?item=21984
wich can then be made into http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22048 if you have the top piece.
So its something about that amulet. From what i can read its all part of the dungeon set 2 questline. But it seems that every class had to go true these steps so i rly cant connect it to any class.
So in conclusion, im back to Druid since you play one..
