Rocket Bouncing Challenge!

So you’re an ICC raider, eh? You say you hate how long it takes to get the Gunship started after everyone’s on board?
Then, I CHALLENGE YOU, SIR! How many times can you bounce in the air without landing using the gunship’s rocket pack? Keep in mind, most guilds probably aren’t going to wait around for you to get your best, so do it right the first time!
Here’s my best, so far:

what are the rules to this? if so, i can cheat on the platform between the ballons :D

No rules, other than “landing” is when your rocket fires out a wave of fire.
I suppose I could say no using the platform accessible via jumping from the pipes, however, since Alliance don’t have access it.

I cheat and use slowfall, muhahaha

Should I be worried that the first two responses are, “I know how to cheat”? >.>

Well of course. It’s just like that Warthog Jump from Halo. One guy put a video of it up, then everyone else used multi-player to beat the snot out of the attempt.
Gamers have no limits to how insane they are and will do ANYTHING to one up someone.

Well, it’s one thing to come up with unintended ways to accomplish something, but I mean, THEY obviously think it’s cheating, because that’s the language they used.
But I’m not really partial, either way – it’s not like I’m requiring video proof, I just thought it would be something fun for people to do while waiting for the gunship event to start.

Heh, I messed with it a time or two and got to 19, but a guildie did 32! :D
I’m not very good at wall-hopping either, the time or two I’ve tried it.

well, we took a break in gunship and i tried it out and managed to get 31. trick is, when u gain enough speed going front and back on the boat is easy, i just messed up the landing near the cannon :S

Yarr, I found the difficult part was trying to click far enough away to give yourself enough time to turn and click back – especially since, as you’re moving, you might suddenly get out of range.
You can see that’s what happens to me at the end of the provided example.
