Zevia: Must Go Faster!
Hey folks, Zevia here. Most people have become pretty impatient when it comes to heroic farming at this point, and if you’re the tank, you may find yourself feeling constantly pressured to pick up the pace.
For your viewing pleasure, I’ve included an example of how to chain pull through a heroic with some on-the-fly commentary. It does assume you know the basics of tanking and mostly just touches on a few tips to keep in mind to help you move from one group to the next at a pace that’s good for the group.
The group in this video is simply a random PuG, not guildmates or anybody I knew beforehand, so rest assured that your average group should be capable of moving through most heroics at this pace if you push them to. Let me know what you think!

Pug heroics are sometimes great, other times they do my head in!
@ the start of each run, I will whisper the healer and ask if I am right to chain pull, the most normal response i get is “Yes! Please do!”. I remember one heroic, it was the first 2 pulls, and I was still testing the waters, and I get a whisper from the healer “Zzzzzz” and I see this little dwarf priest run off in front of me aggroing EVERYTHING, and I chuckled irl as I charged after him.
For me, my last concern is the DPS. I have had hunters tell me to slow down so they can sit and drink…no thats not going to happen! So long as the healer has mana, my moto is CHARGE!
Although, the biggest tip, and you repeat this in ur movie, always check the healer at the start to make sure they can cope…My tank is nicely geared and I jhave had the misfortune of getting a pug, which consisted of 3 people from the same guild, all wearing BoA items…lets just say it was an interesting run and I’m sure that the healing meter was lying when I check @ the end of the run and I was on top…
Chain pulling heroics is great fun, but you should always know YOUR limit – no one likes a wipe..
On a side note – you should never anger the healer as you are about to pull…they do evil things like teleport out of the instance and leave you to die and get Saate killed (which was a bonus ofc!)
