Guides – Shen’dralar

Who are the Shen’dralar?
The Shen’dralar are a secretive faction of immortal elves that reside within the ruins of ancient city of Eldre’Thalas, now known as Dire Maul. They are a group of powerful arcanists that were charged by Queen Azshara with protecting her most prized arcane secrets. Following the destruction of the first Well of Eternity they maintained their immortality by syphoning energy from the demon Immol’thar, which they imprisoned using magical pylons.
For thousands of years this worked quite successfully, however eventually the power from the syphon began to diminish. To preserve their immortality their leader, Prince Tortheldrin, and his loyalists began murdering off other members of the faction. Some say a measure of their sanity was lost in this act, and to this day they respond with hostility to any that try to meddle in their affairs.
The Method
The method here is relatively straightforward and simple – Players can complete three repeatable turn-in quests with [Lorekeeper Lydros] in Dire Maul North all the way to exalted. Each turn-in yields 500 reputation requiring a total of 84 to finish the grind. The complication comes from collecting all the different materials require for each quest.

What you’ll need
- The [Crescent Key] which grants you access to both Dire Maul North and the Library within. Although technically another player can use their key to let you in, you’ll want one for yourself if you’re intending on doing Steamwheedle Cartel as well.
- An engineer friend with a [MOLL-E] to allow you to turn the items in faster. They’re all unique so unless you want to make 30 trips back and forth from Dire Maul to the nearest mailbox this is essential.
- Having a few thousand gold saved is a big advantage as among other things you’ll need 84 x [Pristine Black Diamond]. While its easier to farm the other materials, the diamonds are slightly more annoying to farm and are probably best sourced through the auction house. At the time of writing this (pre-patch 3.1) the diamonds are going for around 40g each making their total cost for the grind around 3360g. I’d expect the price for these to increase after the patch as well.
See also this thread on player submitted tips for obtaining Pristine Black Diamonds.
Getting everything together
The three turn-in quests require a unique Libram which are random drops off the bosses and trash in Dire Maul. The librams are called [Libram of Focus], [Libram of Protection] and [Libram of Rapidity]. Building up a good stock of these can be as easy as checking the auction house every day to see what’s available, at the time of writing this all three of the librams were routinely available for around 40-80g each.
In addition to the items you can find in the auction house, each one of the librams requires a bind-on-pick item that you’ll need to farm in the plaguelands, scholomance or stratholme. These items are [Frayed Abomination Stitching], [Skin of Shadow] and [Blood of Heroes]. Here’s a quick reference table I put together to show you what’s required for what:

Now since the librams are unique you’ll only be able to have one in your inventory or bank at a time, to get around this I recommend creating an alt guild bank – that way you can store as many librams in the guild bank as you like without having to worry about the unique flag.
Having the bank alt is also a great help in keeping track of how many librams you’ve got saved up as well as what other materials you still need to farm. Here’s a quick screenshot to demonstrate what I mean:

As you might notice, with a single glance, it’s very easy to see what librams/diamonds/shards you have in stock. You can then plan out which of the bind-on-pickup items its going to be most effective for you to farm. Now for a little detail to help you with each of the specific items:
Frayed Abomination Stitching
The best way to get these is by doing Stratholme Baron runs. You’ll usually get 2-3 stitchings in a single run from the abominations, and you’ll also have a chance at picking up the [Deathcharger's Reigns] which also gets you a feat of strength. With these runs being so fast to do, and the protection libram only requiring 1 stitching, these are definately the easiest of the three to gather for.
Skin of Shadow
These are about a 15% drop rate off various bosses and trash mobs in Scholomance. The best way to farm these is to jump off the edge at the start of the instance and head straight for Rattlegore and kill him plus all the trash in his room. After that head over to kill Lady Illucia Barov and her trash, then the Ravenian and whichever other bosses you like. The aim is to take at least 12 minutes before resetting the instance so you don’t have to worry about getting locked out.
I personally couldnt resist killing Doctor Theolen Krastinov every time for a chance at the fabled [Sawbones Shirt].
Blood of Heroes
These are ground spawns that appear all over the place in both the Eastern and Western Plaguelands. While it doesn’t take much effort to ride around and find these it can be slow and gets tedious pretty quick. There are two mods I highly recommend to help out in collecting these. The first mod is Gathermate which shows the locations of all the nodes on your map. The second mod is Routes, which can take the node data from Gathermate and display the most efficient route between them all on your map. It was great because it meant I could just zone out and follow the pretty line.

Just when you thought it was over…turn in time!
Up until Wrath of the Lich King gifted our lives with [MOLL-E] this was actually one of the hardest parts of the grind. Since the librams are unique you needed to take them one at a time between Feathermoon Stronghold (Alliance) or Camp Mojache (Horde) and Dire Maul.
You’ve still got this option available to you, of course, but I’d implore you to drag an engineer friend out to plonk down their portable mailbox next to the quest giver. That way you can turn in 30-40 at a time and save yourself some time.
Exalted with the Zandalar Tribe yet? If not save all the arcanum quest rewards you receive, as they can be turned in to Zanza the Restless in Zul’Gurub for 500 rep each!
Links and other resources
Beyond the usual suspects (wowhead etc) there arent really a lot of good sources for information on the Shen’dralar. I think that’s in part because the grind is so straightforward – you get the librams, you turn them in, you get the rep increase, you move on with your life. If you’re considering taking on this grind I’d still suggest reading up as much as you can, and I’d definitely recommend doing this at the same time you grind Dire Maul North for Steamwheedle Cartel rep as you’ll save a little on librams while getting other rep at the same time.
Some of the resources I used to help me were:
- WowJuju Reputation Calculator – Great to keep track of how many librams turn-ins you’ve got to go. Not ultra important for this grind since the rep is an even +500 no matter which kind.
- Shen’dralar on WowWiki – Not a lot of useful rep information here, but some interesting lore links if you’re interested in reading up some more on the history of the Shen’dralar.
- Shen’dralar on WowHead – A good place to keep an eye on for any useful information or changes to the Shen’dralar. You never know what you might find in the comments to help you out.
- WoW Forums – Achievement Forum – This is another great source for guides, up to date information and accounts of other peoples experiences with various grinds.

I was curious as a great way to farm Pristine Black Diamonds, do you know?
Pristine Black Diamonds are tricky – since they’re a random zone drop from places like Stratholme/Scholo/Dire Maul the only trick is to farm something else and get them as a bonus. If you need Shen’dralar AND steamwheedle rep then Dire Maul is the best – since you get librams, pristine black diamonds and the cartel rep all at the same time.
Keep an eye on the auction house every day for the Pristine Black Diamonds too – I think somewhere in the neighbourhood of 20-30g each is reasonable to pay.
I’ve been following your guides. I have only Shen’dralar left now and I’m buying the Pristine Black Diamonds for 40g each via trade chat. While running through Scholomance for the Skins of Shadow, I picked up a Pristine Black Diamond off of two different runs. Although, the absolute worst part of this reputation has to be trying to find Blood of Heroes.
I hated farming the skins of shadow/blood of heroes as well, I just couldnt seem to get them fast enough and it was frustrating since I had the librams and the diamonds sitting on my bank alt. Glad to hear the guides have been useful! Make sure to email me a screenshot of your title when you get it and I’ll stick it up on the site :)
Hello ive been following ur guides and ur tips, have been really usefull so far even tho i’ve just started, atm i’m working on steamwheedle but trying to get mats for shen’dralar and darkmoon at the same time.
Tho Pristine black diamonds are around 50-100g on my server and i dont seem to have any luck buying them so i’ll have to wait i guess.
But thanks alot for your guides!
- Atombomb, Shattered halls EU
how do i make the Libram with those thing
do i need some Enchanter or somthing??
@LALA
You need to pick up the librams from dire maul and add the other mats to it and hand in to shen’drelar.
Finaly exalted with them. So i went to Zanza the Restless in Zul’Gurub to turn in the arcanum. But i can not turn them in. The only thing i can do is Hoodoo Hex Quest? I’m friendly with them.
Grats Mate! Regarding the not being able to turn in I had a look around and you need to be at Honored reputation before you can turn them in. If you grind the raptors/croc packs it shouldnt take long at all to get to there. You can also check your AH for some Bijous/Coins to turn in for the rep.
I’ll update the guide on the weekend, too, to mention that Honored is needed!
This is correct i’m excalted with them now :d
For people without Engineering, you can now attach a pony (purchased with 150 Champion Seals in Icecrown) to your Argent Squire pet that lets you access a bank, vendor, or a mailbox for 3 minutes. There is a 1 hour CD afterwards. This is a great way for you to turn in multiple librams at once.
You did not mention that to get the quests, you must first do a quest called Elven Legends. Horde get it form Sage Korolusk at Camp Mojacheand alliance form Scholar Runethorn in Feathermoon. Great guide!
Hellmatador:
THANK YOU! I was there, trying to turn in… and nothing. I’m so glad you added that =D
Hey, I’m also going for this title. At this time of writing I only need Shen’dralar and Darkmoon left. So I have to ask. For the libram turn ins, did you farm the Librams first, or did you farm the mats first? Just wondering which would be easier, as with the mats first you’d have to make an estimate, rather than knowing right away what you need. If you’d get back to me, it’d be much appreciated. Also, anyone else feel free to voice your opinion on this. Thanks. :)
Heya Neph! Good question, you’ll definitely find the librams tougher to get these days as they tend to be both limited and expensive on most servers. This means you have to either pay lots or farm them yourself which takes a lot of time. Either way you go I recommend buying up low level stacks of herbs as well as rogues/demons/mages/swords cards whenever you have the option to do so cheaply. Doesnt hurt to go farming for bloods/skins/stitches for the librams ahead of time too. Good luck :)
Thanks. Stacks of herbs which give the verdant pigment for the cards sell for 40g/stack on my server, so I think I’m gonna be farming the herbs myself on my mage. I pretty much have Darkmoon planned out. As far as Librams go, they’re up to 700g each on my server, which is hard to believe but true, so that’s not an option for me. :X I have been farming them in DM though, and was wondering which wing is best to farm them in, because I’ve heard different stories. :o
Amen on the prices going up. On my realm (Ravencrest EU), Alliance side you’re looking to spend 2-300 gold per libram and around the same on a pristine black diamond.
Thank god for faction change being right around the corner, since horde side prices appear much more reasonable.
I think I’m just going to farm them myself. After looting and selling all the other items off the mobs there besides the librams, I’m actually making a pretty decent profit. With this money I’m buying the required shards as well (5g per one on my realm). It is my second day and I’ve been practically living in Dire Maul, and I’m up to 20 assorted Librams. This seems much easier than buying them each for 700g (that money could be used for Darkmoon Faire rep). So as it stands, I’m gonna say you should farm in Dire Maul for the librams, and save the gold you make for Darkmoon (If you don’t have all the shards or diamonds you need yet). :)
Forgot to say in my last comment, but Dire Maul North seems to have the best drop rate (I’ve done all 3 wings a few times and tested that.) Anyone else feel free to agree/disagree. :)
The background: I specifically leveled a rogue to 65 just for the junkboxes and engineering. I have an 80 paly that does inscription. My main is an herb/alch. So far I have Darkmoon Exalted, Revered with all SW except Everlook, Revered with Ravenholdt and Honored with Shen. I am finding the whole DM thing tedious, but I will stick it out!
Oh. I wanted to mention about the Skin of Shadow runs. You might as well kill all the bosses because the Instructor has a chance to drop Ace of Portals. Another thing is all the humaoids have a chance to drop the diamonds. If you are ONLY after the skins, then by all means cut every corner you can!
Tarp, I gotta ask. Where did you farm the herbs, and how long did it take you to make all those decks? :o
I’m now almost exalted with Shen’dralar. :D
Darkmoon is left, but the amount of decks I need is fearsome. I don’t even know which herbs I should be farming.
Now for the quest turn in’s.It says u need to turn in 84 of them.Is it 84 times w all three together.Or do u have to turn in all three 84 times?
84 times with any combination of the three librams. So 84 total, not 84 each :)
With only 13 libram turn-ins to go, I got the [Sawbones Shirt] to drop tonight. Sadly, I’ll be Exalted with the Faire before I even put a dent into Rev. with Ravenholdt :/
Hi, I found your guide useful. The chart in particular was a good reference for quickly calculating out how many of each BoP item I needed, as well as the other bits and pieces.
Couple of things though that might be worth mentioning if you’re ever so inclined :)
1. The location of the NPC for hand-ins, and details of the quest you pick up before you can even do the hand-ins (from Feathermoon for Alliance, not sure for Horde)
2. The class quest that gives you 500 rep
3. The imp quest that gives you 500 rep (I actually had the key but had never done the quest)
4. The fact that the arcanums are soulbound and do not stack, so expect to deal with 80+ soulbound items that you may not wish to throw away
I bought most of the mats… cost about 40k gold on dath’remar. I hope I still think it’s worth it when I’m finished! :-)
Hi, I’m wondering about librams, no one really puts them on the ah on my realm and I’m trying to farm them. I saw one post above that says northdm has the best chance, does anyone else agree or have more information on farming them? and also, the p.black diamonds go for 200-300g on my realm if anyone cares lol gl to the rest of you!
Er, since they’re unique, how exactly do you go about farming them..? You have to go mail/bank it every time you get one? So it’s pointless to kill another mob after looting one? People always mention the pain of the trips to turn them all in, but I’ve not seen anything about actually farming them.
In response to Kay, When I go farm them, I get maybe one to drop in 10 full clears on dmn. so, it’s not that often you run to the mailbox to get the libram out of the way. I more run to the vendor in the library place, which is still time consuming.
While farming the Librams in DM North, I would have all the mats for turning in the various Librams in my inventory, so when one does drop, I would finish looting then turn around and immediately turn it in. I learned this after having 3 Protection Librams drop in the same run (looted one, brought out my Argent Tournament boy to mail one to my alt, and had to leave the 3rd Libram on the corpse). It is time consuming, but I’ve had to leave 5 Librams on corpses now and I’d be done with the rep grind by now if I had been able to turn them in. In the case a Libram would drop but I ran out of mats, and my boy was on CD, I would just make the long haul out of the instance to the mailbox.
Also important to note that although unique, you can carry one of each type of Libram simultaneously.
Some of you guys might find this very helpful if you have an alt on another account or if your willing to RAF and Multibox a new toon up for this, Rogue ENG and Inscription for example. If you use WoW’s new RAF program you can power level a couple of alts up extremely fast and having them with you in the instance is fun and so freakin handy. (You can transfer them to your main account when done by the way, full details from Blue on the forums.) Imagine having 192 extra bag slots for example and couple that with the ability to store 3 of each libram quickly! Yeah its that good. Fortunately for me I have a few alts that I played around multiboxing with RAF before even finding this achievement. I have found it immeasurably useful to Train one of them up in ENG for Moll-E and I bring him along for the extra bag space and of course the mailbox. I also bought the Travelers Tundra Mammoth it is so awesome to be able to vendor trash, repair, store, and mail stuff without having to making the time consuming trips to Mojache. But if you don’t want to spend the time messing with leveling them high enough to train ENG for Moll-E (425 Eng) or for the travelers mount then just RAF 2 new accounts, instance spam them just high enough to get into DM (level 45) and you will have two extra bag boys or girls ready to stock your librams, trash, etc. On a side note they will also ding 60 from the RAF bonus while you are farming DM, 60 is the end of the Raf bonus but they can still level higher if you invest in the xpac. Just my two cents but I hope someone finds this and convenient as I did.
Thanks very much for this guide! I’ve recently started my trip to becoming Insane (in the membrane), I’m honoured with Bloodsail and halfway through Revered with Ravenholdt, so I’ve a long way to go!
I’m having to create a deathknight specifically to get herb/inscription (for eventual Darkmoon rep), and for farming Dire Maul North (and hopefully Zul’Gurub eventually :)) for Pristine Black Diamonds and librams.
I’m finding it incredibly hard to so create a guild-bank alt though, no-one will sign the charter even for 20g a sig.. :(
Supernaut, Tell us what server you’re on…let’s make a time to make level ones on your server and make you a guild bank alt…no reason we can’t help each other out.
I’m cheap. I refuse to pay the outrageous prices for pristine black diamonds, so I’ll probably be exalted with everyone before I get the Shendralar rep finished. I’m 14 librams away from having enough, but here’s one more little tip for the large brilliant shards.
My best friend/roommate also plays. He has a level 20 paladin with enchanting at 225. I get him to log his account in when he’s not playing, I invite the pally to group, leave the pally at the AH in SW, then go run DM on my main. Every BOP blue, since last patch, can be d/ed if you have an enchanter in group, even if that chanter isn’t in the instance with you. So if I do a full clear of DM, at least three bosses drop bop blues. Large Brilliant Shards by the stack. I was going to pay an enchanter to group with me, then realized that the pally was ripe for the using. ;)
If u don’t know an engineer and there is non who want to be kind and plonk it for you, u can do it this way, if u at the same time is lvling a Rogue alt, or farming something else on a alt:
Set u HS in Feathermoon Stronghold (Alliance) or Camp Mojache (Horde), get one of each Librams plus the mats from the mail. Then run into DM, turn in the Librams, HS back and do the same one more time. After u turned in these Librams, log on the alt u are lvling, farming with or what else u are doing, and do it for 30 minuttes. Then log back on the char u are after the title with, HS back, get Librams, turn in, and wait 30 minuttes more…
It works really well for me, while im lvling my Rogue…
Also if u feal kind a boring doing quests after quests, and just thinks its to slow, try using The Dungeon Finder, U actually lvl quite fast that way, and in the time of waiting u can do quests…
Hi,
Love the guides, I appreciate all the work everyone puts in to make our life a little less ‘insane’.
One thing that I would like to add is that I found a few prof changes for me during the grind made things not only cheaper, but I found I actually made gold even though I was paying up to 200g per Pristine Black Diamond.
While grinding in DM for Cartel and Shan’dralar rep I kept my enchanting, but took up skinning. Only killing the mobs I needed for the keys and any others that were silly enough to attack me, I managed to get huge amounts of runecloth, rugged leather, large brilliant shards and even enough librams to see me through to exalted.
Once that grind was over I dropped skinning and took up herbing, I then did the rounds of Athari Highlands killing the Syndicate and then a lap around to herb while they all respawned. Kill, run lap, rinse repeat.
That made it all a little less painful to build up my Ravenholdt rep.
Luckily my son has a rogue, I’m paying my for junkboxes, and I collect every herb I see, send them to my scribe and make as many cards as possible, I prefer the lower decks as I can hand then in any time, and the herbs are so plentiful as they aren’t farmed as hard as North Rend herbs.
So for those of you that are thinking of grinding for this title, maybe plan your professions around it as well and manage to make a few gold along the way.
oiii. So I’m working on this title. Only 3 reps to go on my toon. Of the ones I have left (Ravenholdt, Dark Moon Faire, and Shen) Shen is the one I dread the most. Looks like a lot more farming in my future haha.
Thank you for the guide and the bank suggestion layout- I modeled mine like yours and it’s helpful…but alot less full haha :)
Insane since .. a months or two. Just wanted to point out that farming low lvl herbs is not worth it. Either buy low level herbs cheap and hope for the best when you mill them (hope for verdant ofc) or farm lvl 80 herbs (this is by far more efficient!).
When it comes to shendralar, gathering the pristines can be a bitch as you have to rely on the people in the realm as they are rarely found. The thing here though that i just wanted to enlighten people with is that i did never mail the librams to some bankchar who stored it – i just went around with my pristines that i had and farmed Dire Maul North for the key and at the same time hoping for a libram which has a good droprate (imo). Got aroundish 10-15 a day (and i wasn’t farming constantly). Anyway, what i wanted to clear out is that, as soon as i got a libram, i just turned around and ran the way which can seem pretty long but just having the +500 rep in mind makes it way worth it, and then just either continue the run or go out and reset (depending on the amount of key-dropping bosses killed as they have 15% droprate). Engineering can buuurn!
Anyway, thinking of getting insane on another char, rep-grind is imo the funniest part of wow ((:
Heya! Make sure to send me a link to a screenshot of your title so I can add it to the hall of fame :) Definitely agree on the pristine black diamonds being the worst.
The diamonds are definetely the worst…i ended up paying 150g each for 77 :( do the math
Only 150g each?
My server the common price for 1x Diamond is 360g
I’ve got lucky and got 7 of them for 260g each
Hey im working on this on my DK on spinebreaker(US)(horde)
great guides… shendralar is def one of the tougher reputations, diamonds and librams are selling for 200g+ each on my side… but i just spammed trade WTB the diamonds/librams 40g each, and got a bunch, i also created a lvl 1 alliance, and moved some gold over to him via neutral AH… i got so many diamonds and librams over there!! i paid 10-25g each libram, and 2g-40g each diamond, and left with about 40 diamonds, and 20 librams in a week or 2 of looking around… so thought i would throw that idea out there to ppl, check the opposite faction for these items also!! good luck
Darolyn made a great suggestion to run DM with an enchanter in party. However, if you are an enchanter yourself, I’d still recommend getting a group for that small DE button that helps saving some time and space. Moreover, you can enter DM (and do the key quest) in a raid, so you can ask a friend who’s about to log out to hang along off-line.
As for which libram is the best and easiest, I’d say choose the instance, not the amount of mats/difficulty/etc. I absolutely love Scholo and never get tired of running it, so Focus is my favorite. Protection is supposed to be the easiest, but Strat gives me nausea from the 230+ baron mount runs (no luck btw). So choose the strategy you’re most comfortable with, as you’re in for a long, long time.
/deep sigh. Just posting to update. Down to DMF and Shen rep left. Finished the Ravenholdt junkbox grind. Still wish I could AH those junkboxes so that I could make some gold off those without being contracted out for someone. Though, that might be a consideration for me on my Rogue when the title is done. I prefer to have my Insane title done first, before offering to grind it for someone else hehe.
I’m hanging in there on the Shen and DMF reps. Trying to build decks with cards from AH when they are cheap enough and just stacking cards until I can build a boat load of decks at one time. Seems easiest to hold them in the bank that way = stack cards to 20 each, rather that 1 space for 1 deck.
I think if I ever did this again, I’d try the Dire Maul way. Going through it the first time, I just ground out pirates for the reps instead– but now I see why grinding Dire Maul from the get go is a good idea. Librams, Pristine Black Diamonds, Runecloth to sell, greens to DE. It was kind of a hard decision at first knowing how to get started, not having done it before…but it’s a bit of a bear to be on the last two reps and have them dragging out slow to completion…
here’s a simple macro that makes quest turn-ins incredible simple.
/script SelectGossipAvailableQuest(1)
/script CompleteQuest()
/script GetQuestReward()
if you want to repeat the 2nd or 3rd quest a giver offers, just change the first line’s (1) to a (2) or (3). Not only is this useful for shendalar, it’s useful for timbermaw and argent dawn and any other repeatable turn-ins!
Getting closer…Finally DO have all the librams I need. BUT- being this close and still having to farm the BOP items, I have decided that I’m going to do the little bit of extra libram farming to get some more Prot librams. They are the least expensive ones, mat wise. Even the Focus librams cost 4 LBS a piece. So I’ve been steadily replacing my less desired librams for a few more Prot librams here and there to have a bit less of a headache later when I turn them in. The only down side that I see to doing that is not being able to mail 3 ‘unique but different’ librams per mail to a time to help speed up using the Moll-E at the end. But…I’ve come this far.
One thing that I thought I’d share– assuming you’re not an engineer and don’t have a Moll-E of your own…if you have 2 accounts (not everyone does), it’s nice to have a mule outside Dire Maul so that when 2 of the same libram drops, you can just log in the second toon, invite to party and get them in the instance (has to be instance lvl approp char) to get the 2nd libram– or- go back to the begining, trade the libram to the mule, and continue on from there incase a 2nd one drops. Having a Moll-E on either toon does help…but there is the 2 hour CD you have to keep in mind.
I’m having issues with Pristine Black Diamonds now myself. I need something like 60 more :P For all the runs I’ve done, I haven’t really gotten many PBD’s to drop in Dire Maul. I did get one in Scholo so far trying to get some Skins. PBD seem to go for … 90g-175g on my server :( ugh.
I just wanted to emphasize how important it is to spam trade and MAKE COD DEALS WITH PEOPLE…. people farm for the Baron mount in Strat and don’t know about Insane, so they put PBD’s on AH…. all you gotta do ensure them a sale, so lower the price! PBD’s go for 2-400g (infrequently) on my server, but people were glad to get 100 or even 50g for em when i /w them!!
Also, this is definitely best done AFTER BB has been honored (or whatever rep level you are going to put it) so you can do Free Knots!, and get your Steamwheedle at the same time as working on Shendalar!
So far I’ve only seen the librams drop off elementals, demons, and humanoids in Dire Maul. Can they also drop off the Gordok Mastiff’s and Carrion Swarmers too? (Trying to clean up my farming route. If they don’t drop off the beasts or bugs, I’d rather not bother with them. lol)
@Cassi – from what I recall and what wowhead is telling me the answer is no, no librams from them. Safe to skip them I think :)
is there reason (apart from better track keeping) to hand all librams at a time? Considering I’ve some amout of other materiasls pre-farmed could turn the libram at the vey same visit of DM they drop and thus minimize problems with their uniqueness and MOLL/Squire CD. Am I wrong?
Atteela, I turned the librams in as I got them (provided I had other mats ready). It was handy as I didn’t have portable mailbox either. When I was done with the Steamwheedle, I was left with about 20 more turn-ins to do, which I easily did in one run after having acquired enough PBDs.
Oh and I’m really glad that I’m already over with this part of the achievement. There are at least 2 other people on my server working on it, and one is constantly spamming trade channel offering 350g for CODed PBDs… while back in February the high-end price was 300g and I managed to snatch a dozen for under 100g. I just hope I will be done with DMF before this guy gets to it and wrecks this part of server economy as well.
Pingback: The View Through The Branches » Blog Archive » Shen’dralar: A History & A Rep Guide
Hey man awsome guide, just 1 question, how do i get my hands on pristine black diamonds if my servers has a very low pop. cause the only 5 diamonds on AH are at 300g :S i didnt really read the wall of text but is there an easy way ( i expect not ) or do i have to farm ( god ) all 84 of em?
Two things.. There are some books which begin a quest and award 500 rep but are not repeatable. There is a book for every class. There are also 3 books for those who are blacksmither and an extra book for Quel’Serrar which is removed from the game tho. And secondly a question: how u managed to have all those librams on your bank alt? Arent they unique??
You can put multiple unique items in a guild bank and that is where he stored them.

Very happy and again great guide :)
Excellent guide. I’d like to highlight a new technique for collecting librams without the aid of a MOLL-E, an argent squire or a mailbox :)
This method requires the Remote Auction House subscription:
* Keep running DM picking up librams.
* When you find a duplicate, logout completely to the login screen.
* Login to the Remote Auction House via the website or the iPhone app.
* Create a bid only auction for all librams in your bags then immediately cancel these auctions.
– Your librams have now been transferred from your bags to your mailbox.
* Log back in to WoW and loot the new libram from the corpse.
sweet :)
