Dire Maul Fun – Any Challengers?
So I’ve been playing with Sony Vegas a little bit more, and I’m getting the hang of putting together videos and stuff to share with you guys. I plan to upload a few more in future to share the methods I used for various parts of ‘Insane in the Membrane’ farming. Stuff like the best places to pickpocket heavy junkboxes for Ravenholdt rep, and more ratchet/dm steamwheedle rep farming.
I don’t normally pull like this doing my runs, I just happened to be close to reaching the five instances/hour cap and had a few minutes to kill so I thought I’d see what I could do. I’m very curious to find out if any other classes can beat this, I suspect possibly a Paladin would be the only real competition out there but I’m not sure they could put out enough DPS to take them down fast enough. Ah well, prove me wrong!

That is a funky UI.
Yeah I like it! The main ui I use is called “SpartanUI” which puts the map and stuff at the bottom of the screen, I also use CT_Buffmod for the buffs on the right hand side of the screen. Someone asked about the ‘blood’ effect of the enemy hits on the screen, that’s just part of the Scrolling Combat Text mod – you just set the display option to ‘rainbow’ I think for enemy hits to splash out like that.
Sometimes it sucks being squishie, I can barely have 5 on me at a time. That was a cute video :D
I was back in there today (I know, sick isnt it!) farming a few librams and stuff to sell – and I figured I’d try to see what else I could manage. So I pulled the Gordok King plus ALLLLL the trash and was trying to get him back to the start of the instance to see if I could pull that off.
Something wierd happens though, when you get to the middle of the instance there’s a kind of player-leashing that occurs and you get teleported into the masses of mobs chasing you. I tried it again with just captain Kromcrush plus all the trash except it leashed me again, I recorded that one though – I got Captain Kromcrush, Guard Fengus and Guard Slip’kik with all their trash though which looked pretty cool :)
hmm does it count to living bomb spam? if so i may pull the entire instance in 1 pull. but then the looting would be worse :(
