- Eyetotem told us about a macro he used to delete the junkbox quest reward knives to make the process faster. You’ll have to click through to the guide to see the comments since it was a little long for here. I would also recommend using a vendor mount or engineering jeeves to sell the knives without having to move.
- Lucidshadow wasnt sure if the quest giver would accept opened junkboxes. Unlocked/opened junkboxes are definitely ok to use! You just need to make sure you leave a single item in the junkbox so it doesn’t disappear.
- Azurexia got a lot of heavy junkboxes in Scholomance while farming for Skin of Shadows. Handy to know if you’re doing the title as a rogue!
- Irinixx used the [LootFilter] addon. This addon lets you add certain items to a blacklist so they get deleted automatically. This allows you to pick-pocket with autoloot on and not have to worry about your inventory filling up.
- Sanibel levelled up a rogue for the junkboxes and learnt a great trick. You can use the LFG system to do a BRD prison run, then when the run is finished stay in the instance after everyone leaves. You can then let yourself into the Garrison and Ring of Law areas for pick pocket goodness. Oh and the best part? When your bags are full you can use the ‘teleport out of instance’ option to get straight to a mailbox!
- Ketch, Muted, Tax and Tyranis among others recommended LBRS for junkbox farming. Muted was kind enough to put together this video of the route:

The pickpocketing macro I use is just plain and simple:
#showtooltip Sap
/cast Pick Pocket
/cast Sap(Rank 4)
It’ll sap the target, so if you see it sapped, you’ll have pick pocketed it too, since it doesn’t share global cooldown or cost energy. You need auto-loot turned on though. Click or tab target as you run around.

The best place to farm the initial Nuetral -> Max honored is the small tower to the West of Durnholde Keep. There are only about 20 total mobs that will spawn there, but they are all worth rep. They will start respawning instantly if you bring their numbers down below 4. With a friend working the north side of the tower, and me working the South side, we got up to nearly 10k rep/hour, which made short work of the grind. The nice thing was the fact there is no terrain to really navigate around, so ranged abilities can hit nearly any target without moving.
As for the lockboxes:
I respecced my old 70 rogue with a random spec to suit my desires while grabbing lockboxes, with Shadowstep, Endurance, Elusiveness, Preparation, Dirty Tricks, Master of Deception and Camouflage. Aside from that, I only go into LBRS with food and my hearthstone. The glyph of Pick Pockets has been an invaluable addition, as well as Safe Fall & Pick Lock.
Once his bags are full I just hearth to Dal and mail everything off and get him ready to go again.
I turn em in once I hit 200, since that will just about take up the 10 minute timer on Jeeves and MOLL-E.

The slimes and oozes in vestern felwood, have a decent drop rate, and beside that chance to drop Ooze bag that can containe a pet wich can sell very vell
