Zevia: Interview with Psychi
Hey guys, Zevia here. The other episode for this week was an interview I had with Psychi, who is a regular visitor at the website here and is often one of the first people to respond to much of the material posted. He is one of the Insane-titled Saate-ans, so on the topic of how people might approach the way they play games, I asked him some questions about his achievements and what he takes away from the hunt for them.

Interview with QQ Premades
Folks across the Bloodlust Battlegroup will no doubt be familiar with “LFM QQ Battleground Premades: Good fun, easy honour, need vent. 80s only, cross-realm, PST for info!” appearing in their trade chats over the last few months. After having run with them and joined up with them as a member, Serephim suggested we contact the guys who run it for an interview.
I was immediately intrigued – I’d seen the messages in trade chat but had no idea how it all worked. Cross Realm Premade PvP? Not only do they manage to coordinate it all but they maintain an amazingly high win rate! Serephim and I caught up with the founder, QueueQ, and his right hand man, Zevia, to chat about their runaway success.
Interview with Baron Soosdon
A few weekends back Serephim and I were lucky enough to catch up with Baron Soosdon, the famous WoW Machinima maker. For those unfamiliar with the term, ‘Machinima’ is a marriage of the terms ‘Machine’ and ‘Cinema’ and has come to represent the fast growing movement of player-created gaming movies.
What originally began with simple screen captures of in-game events with basic text overlayed has blossomed into an intricate, beautiful and delicate art form of which Baron Soosdon is a master. This was a really fun interview and I hope you’ll enjoy reading and listening to it!

Forgotten Warla Clip
Hey Hey! I realised a few weeks back that when I published my interview with Warla on the site back in July I went to the trouble of creating a teaser clip on YouTube but never posted it anywhere. For those of you new to the site or who read the article but didnt download the MP3 it’s definitely worth a listen!
Serephim and I had great fun chatting to him and listening to his stories. In this particular excerpt we’re chatting about farming the nightmare fragments for the AQ Gate Questline back at level 60 when they were 1% drops from annoying-to-kill portal trash.

Astrylian’s Rawr!
Some time back while hanging around Ironforge on a lazy weekend afternoon I received a whisper from a lower level character about my gear. It turned out that this mystery person had a druid main and we had a good chat about being feral tanks. Later in the conversation we got on to talking about choosing the best gear for our roles and he asked if I’d heard of a program called ‘Rawr’. Imagine my surprise when I learned his main was Astrylian and the software was his creation!
So from a chance meeting that afternoon to an interview with Penfold and I, I’m very pleased to present my latest article.

Palehoof’s Perceptions
As long time patron of the official WoW forums, Palehoof’s contributions were recognised by Blizzard back in 2005. He was was of the first to be appointed a Community MVP. I was keen on finding out more about what exactly that meant, and how it came about.
On one very early Saturday morning recently, Serephim and I caught up with Palehoof to get the answers to all our questions and much much more.

He’s currently ranked 7th US-Wide with a whopping 9530 achievement points. This week I was lucky enough to catch up with Desperada, from the Staghelm realm, to have a chat about his obsession with achievements and find out a bit more about what drives him.
